It can be used as a replacement for Notepad for simple text-editing tasks. You can also use EditD as a text browser by using the or menu command. Files may be dragged from the Windows Explorer and dropped on the EditD window to open them. Add a shortcut to the exe file in the Windows start menu, on your desktop, or both. You may want to associate editd.exe to some file types like .txt in the Windows Explorer.
